About Us
“We are passionate about preserving our beautiful stone heritage. It's exciting to be able to offer high quality work, from a polite and friendly team. Three Counties Stonemasonry only employ Cathedral trained, and highly skilled stonemasons with an excellent work ethic. We believe these core values are fundamental to ensuring quality craftsmanship.” - James Robinson, Owner

Three Counties Stonemasonry Ltd was founded in 2023 by James Robinson, a mason with twenty-four years' experience in the trade. He began his career as a Stonemason in 1999, with an apprenticeship at Worcester Cathedral and Weymouth College to achieve an NVQ 3 in stonemasonry. He spent a total of nine years at the Cathedral, having the opportunity to work on many projects such as building a new pinnacle and carving a plaque for HM Queen Elizabeth. (image on left)
For most of his career, James has worked as a sub-contractor stonemason for many firms across the country, and has a wealth of experience working on all types of historic buildings, and new-build projects. He has forged strong connections within the industry, working closely with experts in building conservation such as English Heritage and The National Trust.

With experience in management, writing detailed reports and quotes, understanding architectural plans, and designing new-build projects, everything we do is finished to a high standard with attention to detail.
We are stonemasons based in Worcester, who also work in Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, and all over the three counties. We also work further afield.
We specialise in restoration of historic buildings, but are also able to help with the design and completion of new-build projects.
Whatever your project is, we will be able to do it.
